Dr. Smith is a graduate of the School of Veterinary Medicine at Iowa State University. He double majored in Animal Science and Dairy Science, then went on to complete his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Smith soon returned to his native state of California and practiced in Upland, prior to founding Norco Animal Hospital in 1989. Dr. Smith continues to work at Norco Animal Hospital where he has formed many long term and meaningful relationships with his clients and their pets. He works with Norco Animal Control to assist with the medical needs of pets found by or left at the shelter. Dr. Smith has the distinction of receiving Inland Empire Magazine’s 2004 award for Best Veterinarian. Dr. Smith was born and raised in Riverside California. He enjoys spending time with family and with his many pets. Other favorite pastimes, when there is time, are playing basketball and tennis.
Dr. Cha attended University of California Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, where she obtained her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Upon graduation, Dr. Cha completed a one year rotating internship at the California Veterinary Specialists in Murrieta and Carlsbad. She joined the Norco Animal Hospital team in 2013. Dr. Cha’s fields of interest include soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, oncology, and radiology. She enjoys spending time with her four dogs, one cat, and two leopard geckos.
Dr. Albert Yoon
Dr. Yoon left his hometown of San Jose to obtain an undergraduate degree at the University of California, Davis. He returned to UC Davis several years later and obtained his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. After graduating from UC Davis, Dr. Yoon continued his training with a one year rotating internship at the Animal Specialty and Emergency Center in West Los Angeles. Upon completion of his internship, Dr. Yoon joined the team at Norco Animal Hospital and has been practicing here since 2011. When not helping your pets, he enjoys playing guitar and spending time with his dog, Ash.
Dr. Ann Lorkowski is pleased to provide high-quality, compassionate medical care at Norco Animal Hospital. Since receiving her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from UC Davis in 1999 Dr. Lorkowski has practiced in the Inland Empire, San Bernardino Mountains, and the High Desert. Her special interests include toxicology and infectious diseases. Dr. Lorkowsi also provides services to the California Veterinary Medical Board as a hospital inspector and expert witness. Her interests outside of veterinary medicine include riding and showing her horse on the local hunter circuit, hiking, classical literature, and needlecraft. Dr. Lorkowski and her partner of 20 years, David, split their time between Riverside and Lake Arrowhead. They share their home with two cats (Emma and McCarron), and an off-the-track Thoroughbred, Fortune.
Dr. Runion conferred his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine by the University of California, Davis. Following graduation, he completed a yearlong rotating internship with the Sacramento Animal Medical Group. After which time, he was retained by that group as an associate. Family and opportunities brought him back to southern California where he continues to practice veterinary medicine. He is thrilled to be a new member of the talented team at Norco Animal Hospital.
Dr. Runion has a special interest in and many years of experience with bulldog type breeds. Both lovers of dogs and cats, Dr. Runion and his fiancé enjoy the companionship of many pets. They enjoy spending time at amusement parks, food festivals, and watching science fiction.
Dr. Dayle Siegel began to pursue her lifelong dream of helping animals by earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from the University of Illinois. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2007, from St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Siegel is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the California Veterinary Medical Association. Her professional interests include internal medicine, dermatology, dentistry, and integrative medicine. When not caring for your pets Dr. Siegel enjoys spending as much time as possible with her two daughters. She also enjoys a good book, playing the piano and bassoon, and hanging out with her cats and dogs.
Ed Shin DVM received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the School of Veterinary Medicine at UC Davis. Upon graduating, he completed his internship in internal medicine, surgery, and emergency care. After completing his internship Dr. Shin started working at Norco Animal Hospital in February 2007. Dr. Shin then joined the Lake Elsinore Animal Hospital family in January of 2011, Animal Medical Hospital of Pasadena in 2013, and Valley Veterinary Clinic in 2014.
He enjoys working with many breeds of dogs and cats. Dr. Shin has a special interest in emergency care, endocrinology, and preventive medicine. In his spare time he enjoys mountain biking, reading, and spending time with his dog.
